SOPHRD News! KAI 6.2 release and progress Report of the European Commission audit mission

MASOPHRD published the Draft Guide for Applicants – Specific conditions for grant proposals no.115, related to key area of intervention KAY 6.2 “Improving access and participation of vulnerable groups in the labor market”. The Call for these grant projects is estimated for 2012 by West Regional Intermediate Body SOPHRD. Estimative financial allocation for this call for proposals is 22,283,955.432 RON (equivalent of EUR 5,000,000).
The project lenght may be between 6 and 24 months, and its total eligible value can range between RON equivalent of EUR 50,000 and EUR 500,000. Also, the target group must consist of at least 100 people.
The eligible applicants under this call are local public administration authorities (administrative territorial unit) – General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection (DGASPC), headquartered in West Region.
Also, extremely important for both potential beneficiaries and also for those who are already implementing projects financed under SOPHRD, on Monday, October 8th, was published the progress Report on funds managed by MASOPHRD issued by the audit mission and required by the European Commission comprising a series of findings as well as measures to be taken regarding the management of such projects. Measures will have a major impact on beneficiaries, as it clarifies a number of assessment tools, reporting, verification and control.
